FIELD STATUS
Fields will be open Sunday, September 7, with the exception of fields 8 & 9. SWEET!
COACHES: Please use good sense when conducting your sessions and change areas after each drill. Please don't do your whole session in one 30x20 area. Do not chew up the goal mouth. Your GK does not have to warm up and train the whole 2 hours in the middle of the goal mouth. If your team can warm up in between the fields please have them do so. Please make every effort to preserve our fields.

Micro Soccer Update
We are so excited about the new Fall soccer season that is about to start! Many thanks to all of you who have already helped us, and many thanks in advance to those of you who will! It is a community effort to keep JFC going strong, and we appreciate your help. The Micro season is set to begin the week of September 15th. Teams are being finalized now, and you will be hearing from your coaches very soon about practices and games. If you have any questions or concerns, please email llnowell@gmail.com

JFC Academy Coaches Clinic Rescheduled
Due to bad weather, the JFC Academy Coaches Clinic has been changed from September 3rd to September 10th from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at JFC Complex.

'98 Boys Green win Atlanta Cup
Congratulations to the JFC '98 Boys Green for winning the Atlanta Cup Championship in the U-11 boys A divison over Labor Day weekend.

JFC Players Receive Reading FC Youth Academy Invitation
While participating on the SuperClubs tour in Europe this summer, Tyler Germany (JFC ‘95s) and Hayden Cochran (JFC ‘96s) were asked by the Reading FC Youth academy to return in December for a one week trial. While there, Tyler was chosen to play for the U-14 Reading team versus the SuperClub U-14s and contributed in the match by scoring a goal. Overall, the SuperClubs team performed very well with victories over Middlesbrough FC 5-4 and Reading FC 5-4.
Others who participated on the tour from the ’95 Boys included Stephen Kennedy, Evan "Ebay" Buckley, Robert Mounger, and from the ’96 Boys, Will Parrish and Greg Nickels. Zack Armstrong from the JFC '93 Boys also participated on the tour.
