Youth Module Coaching License
Field Session For: Youth Module U6/8 AND U10/12
Date: Wednesday, March 28, 2012
Time: 6pm
Location: Jackson Futbol Club Soccer Complex on Field #2.
Location Address: Fields are located off of Old Canton and Westbrook Road at
the Jackson Futbol Club Complex, 2240 Westbrook Rd. Jackson, MS 39211.
Instructor: JFC Academy Director, Gleddy
Course Information: This is a U6/8 and U10/12 field session. The license is a
great way to learn plenty of new coaching tips and activities for all ages U4
and above age groups. U10 and U12 coaches must have earned a minimum of the
state required coaching license equivalent to the age group in which they coach
before they can coach in any Mississippi Soccer organized tournament
(District and State Tournaments).

Registration Information: Go to www.mysams.org and click on e-Coach. Then click
"Register for Level I, II, III Course. At the bottom of the screen click Take an
e-Coaching Course and sign up for the age appropriate youth module course that
applies to you. Coaches must register online in order to take the online test. This
license does not expire. All coaches should bring a ball and be prepared to
participate in all the soccer sessions.

ACADEMY

The Academy is designed to develop young soccer players through their formative years and to give them all of the ingredients they need to succeed in the game at the highest level. Players from an early age need to acquire the technical ability to master the ball and be proficient with both sides of their body. Players are placed into age and ability groups to train with expert professional staff, in addition to their core team. The coaches and staff of JFC will teach and develop these players to have the confidence, and the technical ability to enjoy the game and be successful at which ever level they find themselves upon their graduation from the Academy.

Through guided discovery teaching methods, the Academy program challenges each player to creatively solve problems that only the game itself can provide. It is the Academy's primary aim to make soccer FUN so that the vital ingredient of enjoyment is achieved at all times.

Academy Purpose

The JFC Academy will offer an avenue to those players/families seeking a higher level of training while working hand in hand with the JFC recreational schedule and coaching staff.

Academy Overview

JFC Academy Coaches will use the Guided Discovery teaching method. The players will learn from the ball and the game itself. The Academy will provide a structured non-result based learning environment that will focus on developing a love for the game and individual technical skills. Players will take part in fun pressure free practices that foster individual creativity. Healthy competition will be created in 1v1 and 2v2 games within every session. In preparation for the step up to our u10 D2 program academy players will be introduced to the 6v6 game. JFC Academy training will be directed by Coach Gleddy.

Academy Jamboree

JFC is excited to be hosting the first Academy Jamboree which will take place Wednesday, April 4^thfrom 6-8pm. Academy players and coaches from JFC, NWR, Madison and Clinton will all come together for this fun event. This will be a time for everyone to share and display their soccer abilities. Players will take part in fun games and competitions. This will be a great way in which to finish the 2012 Spring Academy training program.

WHEN: Feb 13^th & 20^th & 27^th; Mar 5^{th &} 19^th & 26^th (All Mondays 4:30-5:30). Academy Jamboree April 4^th6:00-8:00.

WHO: All JFC D3 u7 & u8 boys and girls looking for higher level training are welcome.
