JFC SKILLZ SPRING TRAINING 2012 

 (U4, U5, U6 Boys & Girls)

Skillz Training Begins Thursday, February 9th at JFC for all registered players U4-U6 in the girls and boys divisions. These sessions with the academy coaches are included in your registration costs. They are lots of FUN for all players. Here is the complete schedule for the spring training sessions:

Dates: February 9^th & 16^th & 23^rd and March 1st (Every Thursday)

Times: 4:30pm - 5:15pm on Field 2 with Coach Gleddy and staff

Skillz training is free and all registered JFC players. Everyone should bring a ball and drink and show up 10 minutes before start time.  Players will be divided by age and ability.

Youth Module Coaching License
Field Session For: Youth Module U6/8 AND U10/12
Date: Wednesday, March 28, 2012
Time: 6pm
Location: Jackson Futbol Club Soccer Complex on Field #2.
Location Address: Fields are located off of Old Canton and Westbrook Road at
the  Jackson Futbol Club Complex, 2240 Westbrook Rd. Jackson, MS 39211.
Instructor: JFC Academy Director, Gleddy
Course Information: This is a U6/8 and U10/12 field session. The license is a
great way to learn plenty of new coaching tips and activities for all ages U4
and above age groups. U10 and U12 coaches must have earned a minimum of the
state required coaching license equivalent to the age group in which they coach
before they can coach in any Mississippi Soccer organized tournament
(District and State Tournaments).

Registration Information: Go to www.mysams.org and click on e-Coach. Then click
"Register for Level I, II, III Course. At the bottom of the screen click Take an
e-Coaching Course and sign up for the age appropriate youth module course that
applies to you. Coaches must register online in order to take the online test. This
license does not expire.  All coaches should bring a ball and be prepared to
participate in all the soccer sessions.

 

JFC’s Micro soccer program is where it all begins. Boys and girls ages 3 and up sign up for this program because their primary objective is to have FUN playing the sport of soccer with their friends and make new friends along the way. This level play is intended to be a FUN environment where players learn all of the basic and not so basic skills needed to excel. Most coaches are volunteer parents who share the same love for the game.

Micro teams practice  normally 1 time per week and have one game per week. Fall games take place on Monday nights and spring season games take place on Saturday morning.  Some coaches opt to let JFC Skillz Sessions on Thursday be their team practice for the week. All games are played at the JFC complex located at 2240 Westbrook Rd in Jackson.
