We are excited about your family’s interest in the
upcoming SPRING 2025 soccer season at JFC!
Here is some information about our season and club!
Registration Dates:
**November 1-November 30 – EARLY REGISTRATION pricing for
ALL players. $10 discount
if registered and payment is received by November 30.
December 1 – January 3 – Normal registration for all
players.
January 4 -January 16 at 12:01am – LATE registration for all
players - $25 late fee automatically added.
**Any player registered between November 1 and January 16 at 12:00am are
guaranteed spots on a team. Any player registered after January 16 at 12:00am
will be waitlisted, and not guaranteed a spot. Spots will then be filled on an
as needed basis. Coaches will have priority off the waitlists (Volunteer
coaches ALWAYS needed, each team MUST have a volunteer to form)
Beginning January 16 at 12:02am, you will need to email information for the
waitlist after you have registered online for the waitlist. Please
reference THIS ARTICLE on our website for
information on how to register online for the waitlist, and also
information that needs to be emailed as well.
Who is eligible to play?
Children born in birth years 2010-2021. In the 2018-2021 age
groups (Under 4-Under 7) we do take teammate requests, therefore if you would
like to play with friends, we encourage you to notate that on your registration
form in the special requests section.
In the 2010-2015 age groups, players are drafted and only coach and assistant
coaches children are guaranteed a spot on the same team. We do have drafts in
the Under 8, Under 9 and Under 10 age groups and above. (this upcoming season
will be players born in 2015, 2016 and 2017)
SPECIAL
NOTE – Under 8 for 2017 was NOT drafted in Fall 2024 but WILL be
drafted in Spring 2025. Therefore, only head coach and assistant coach will be
guaranteed to be together. All other players are drafted.
How to register?
Simply click the register button in the top right-hand
corner of the website, and it will take you straight to the online registration
system!
Then you may pay by
credit/debit card or mark the option to mail a check. If you need a payment
plan, please contact us and we are happy to get that set up for you.
All players MUST register online regardless of the method of
payment. If you require special assistance due to not being able to register

someone will assist you.

Pricing:
Under 4-Under 7 – Birth years 2018-2021 - $120
Under 8-Under 10 – Birth years 2015-2017 - $140
Under 11-Under 14 – Birth years 2011-2014 - $150
Extra programs offered (Registration available online on
June 1 and after):
Academy Training - 2018 and 2019 (Under 6 and
Under 7) - $75 for 6 sessions
Rec-Plus Training – 2015-2017 (Under 8-Under 10
- $85 for 6 sessions – players will have the option to be chosen for a Rec-Plus
team after the sessions end that will play tournaments at the conclusion of the
recreational season. Players chosen for a Rec-Plus team will pay an extra fee
that covers coaching, tournament costs, uniforms, etc.)

Location:
Our privately run JFC soccer complex is in North
Jackson. Our address is 2241 Westbrook Rd Jackson, MS 39211. Our complex is
located off Old Canton Rd a few blocks from Parham Bridges Park and is at the
end of Westbrook Rd past McLeod Elementary School and across the street from MS
Basketball Association.
- Regular
season games for the SPRING 2025 season (2015-2021 birth years boys and
girls: Under 4-Under 10) - All teams will play 8-9 games.
- During
February games will start mid-morning for U4-U6 and not before noon for
U7-U10 depending on the temperatures for that week. U7-U10 will begin
later due to Upward basketball potential conflicts.
- Saturday,
February 1– Opening day for ALL U4-U10 teams (2015 – 2021 birth years)
will play 1 full length game.
- Saturday,
February 8 - ALL U4-U10 teams (2015 – 2021 birth years) will play 1 full length game.
- Saturday
February 15 - ALL U4-U10 teams (2015 – 2021 birth years) will play 2 full length games.
- Saturday
February 22 - ALL U4-U10 teams (2015 – 2021 birth years) will play 1 full length game.
- Saturday
March 1 - ALL U4-U10 teams (2015 – 2021 birth years) will play 2 full length games.
- Saturday,
March 8- Saturday, March 15 – Spring break week – NO Games
- Saturday,
March 22 – CLOSING JAMBOREE - ALL U4-U10 teams (2015 – 2021 birth years)
will play 2 full length games.
- Saturday
March 22 - JFC will also be hosting a Family Fun Day to end the season,
which will be FUN for the whole family! More information to come during

- If a Saturday is rained out – Makeup games will be as
follows:
- Mondays – U4-U6 teams (2019-2021)
- Tuesdays – U9-U10 teams (2015-2016)
- Thursdays
– U7 and U8 teams (2017-2018)
- ALL
U9-U10 teams may have extra games added depending on the number of players
who sign up. These games may be against other clubs. Final determinations
cannot be made until after registration closes so we know how many teams
can be formed in these ages.
Regular Season games for the SPRING 2025 season
(2011-2014 birth years boys and girls: Under 11/12 and Under 13-15

Games will not start before Saturday, February 15
or Tuesday, February 18. Therefore, these teams will NOT hear from a coach or
parent coordinator until AFTER opening jamboree for the younger ages.

Games on Tuesday and/or Thursday, and Saturdays
·
Games will be against teams from other clubs
around the area. Some will be at JFC; some will be at other complexes. All
other clubs do not start until mid-February, so our teams will start then as
well and will not have a full schedule until the week before (because other
registrations are going on)

All practices will be at JFC.
Practice Days and Times:
Practice times for ALL ages are determined by individual
volunteer coaches AFTER teams are formed. Teams may or may not choose to
practice before the opening day. It is the volunteer coach and team decision.
Player Contact:
All players born in the 2015-2021 age groups should hear
from a coach by Monday January 27 at 7:00pm if not before. Do not be alarmed if
your child is not contacted immediately after registration closes as some
groups will hear from coaches before others.
As our volunteer age group coordinators get information
together on teams, they will pass along to coaches. Coaches are
volunteers and some coaches do take longer to contact teams than
others. However, all players should be contacted by coach by Monday January 27
at 7:00pm. If you are not contacted by a coach by that time, please email
us at [email protected] after
7:00pm and we will have your coach information and game information for opening
day February 1st for U8-U10
Players born in 2011-2014 will not hear from a coach until approximately, Friday,
February 7, 2025. If you have not heard by 7:00 on February 7, please email us
at [email protected]
Coaching:
Please remember that teams cannot be formed without
parent volunteers, so if you did not sign up to coach during registration,
please consider doing so, no experience needed!
There are plenty of coaching activities on our website as
well to guide you as well as current coaches who will help you learn. NO
EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - you can learn with your child.
Sign up during the registration process to get started
helping these young players! Every coach does have to undergo a background
check and take a 1 ½ hour SafeSport course online.
JFC will have a coach’s clinic on Thursday, January 30 in
preparation for the season. More details to come.
Player equipment needed:
All players should have a soccer ball, shin guards and
appropriate footwear (soccer cleats). NEW players this spring will be provided
with two jerseys, black shorts, and socks. If you are a returning player from
Fall 2024, you will use your existing jerseys. If you need new jerseys, please
note the request in the special request section during registration.
Players born in 2018-2021(U4-U7)
should have a size 3 soccer ball. Players born in 2013-2017 (U8, U9, U10, U11
and U12) should have a size 4 soccer ball. Players born in 2011-2012
should have a size 5 soccer ball. These can be purchased at any local
sporting goods store.
Team formation disclaimer:
On older teams (2011-2014), because of team size
limitations, JFC cannot guarantee the player a spot on a team if the team is
already full OR if there is not enough interest to form a team. JFC complies
with all applicable rules of the Mississippi Soccer Association regarding the
registration and rostering of players. However, if you register before January
16 at 12:01am, there should not be any problems placing your child on a team in
these age groups. If denied you will receive a full monetary refund.
Please be aware at these age groups, teams may choose to form as Coed teams
based on the number of children signed up. However, we will make sure
there is an equal balance of games against other girls’ teams and boys’ teams
in regular play. If there are not enough players signed up to form a team in U11,
U12, U13 or U14, your money will be refunded.
Payment:
If you are mailing a check, please mail to ensure payment
reaches us by January 16 (close of late registration). Your registration is not
considered complete until full payment has been received. We will be happy to
work out a payment plan for you if needed as well, just email us

and we are happy to get that set up for you.

JFC Drawdown
JFC will be having its annual JFC $10,000 drawdown and
silent auction on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Duling Hall. Sponsorships are
needed as well as silent auction items. It is an adult night out that is lots
of fun. Live music, adult beverages, food, silent auction, and a chance to win
$10,000 while supporting JFC in one of its necessary fundraising events that
are held during the year. Tickets will go on sale, January 1, 2025. Be on the
lookout for more information and consider helping support the fundraiser by sponsoring
the event or buying tickets. Each ticket allows two adults to be admitted to the
event. This fundraiser supports the upkeep of the complex so that all kids have
a wonderful place to play.
